About the Property
Amandara sits in Terres Basses on the French side of Saint Martin, within a gated beachfront community where the day can be as energetic or as happily idle as the group allows. Five en-suite bedrooms, six bathrooms and room for 10 guests give the villa a generous, easy rhythm: mornings by the heated pool, long lunches on the terrace, a little snorkeling, then perhaps a film in the cinema room when the sun has done its dramatic Caribbean exit.
The bedroom layout is particularly friendly for a mixed group. Three bedrooms have king beds, one has a queen, and one is arranged with two singles, each with its own en-suite bathroom. It is the sort of setup that saves everyone from the quiet politics of who gets the better room, which, frankly, is a vacation mercy.
Inside, Amandara keeps things comfortable and practical. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a desk, TV, stereo system and game system cover work, entertainment and the occasional rainy-hour distraction. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cookware, dishes and silverware, while the barbecue outside makes terrace meals feel appropriately island-minded.
Outdoors, the villa leans into its setting: ocean views, a private outdoor pool, garden, gazebo and terrace space for lingering between swims. There is parking, a private entrance and a generator, plus housekeeping to keep the house running smoothly. A private chef is available, and guests should note the mandatory $4,000 food and beverage deposit. Babysitting can also be arranged, useful if dinner plans are calling louder than bedtime stories.

Outstanding — Outstanding accommodations the view from the pool is breathtaking and the home is top notch. The team that comes with the house is really what makes the trip worth wild. Our housekeeper is extremely kind and does a great job making you feel right at home. The owners are definitely lucky to have someone like her watching over the day to day. We also had a private dinner with our chef and his team they were phenomenal! Please be sure to stop by Jules bakery for the best baked goods on the island. If we ever visit again we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Thank you for the flawless vacation.
Perfect Week — We had a wonderful stay at Amandara! The house is perfect and has an amazing view from every room! We had an incredible team that made our stay so comfortable and easy! Thank you to our wonderful housekeeper, our 5 star chef and his assistant. The food was so delicious and service superb! Our chef is so talented and they both were so much fun to have around. Thank you also to our concierge for guiding us where to go on the island. It was a perfect week!
Amazing! — St Maarten is unbelievable and this home with the view made it so much more! Not only was the house more than what we were expecting but so were the people. We had a wonderful maid. She went above and beyond. We had a spotless house and clean clothes every morning!! We also had a chef and a server. They hit it out of the park. Our meals were unique, our drinks were never empty and we never left the table saying we were still hungry. So much good food !! Our host answered any questions I had at any time. He had all the right suggestions and he could make anything happen! We will recommend them and this house to everyone!! WE WERE TRULY IN PARADISE ❤️
Wonderful Week — We had a wonderful week at Villa Amandara - the house is beautiful and the view is just stunning! We spent a lot of time enjoying the view from the pool. Our chef was a pleasure to have with us all week. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs and served beautifully prepared meals every day. Thank you to our housekeeper for taking care of everything in the house - including laundry! Also thank you to our concierge for his assistance during an extremely busy holiday week. We will be back!
