About the Property
High above Mont Vernon, La Casa del Jefe takes the long view of St. Martin seriously. The villa looks out across a 180 degree sweep from Orient Bay toward Grand Case, with Tintamarre and Pinel Island sitting offshore like little green punctuation marks in the blue. It is the sort of outlook that makes people go quiet for a second, which, on vacation, is not a bad result.
The terrace is the main event: glass railings, a private outdoor pool, lounge space for sun-warmed afternoons, tall tables for a chilled glass of something, and a covered dining area when lunch begins to drift into dinner. Outdoor speakers and a barbecue keep the mood easy, and the ocean view follows you around with almost comic persistence.
Inside, the villa keeps things elegant and comfortable, with sliding glass doors drawing the terrace into the living spaces. The lounge has plush seating and a large TV, the kitchen is well equipped for proper meals, and the dining table has room for the full group of eight. A wine fridge helps, naturally.
All four bedrooms have king beds and ocean-facing access to the terrace, so nobody gets the sad room. Two bedrooms are listed with en-suite bathrooms, and the villa offers four bathrooms in total, making it a polished choice for four couples, a family with older children, or a small group that likes privacy as much as pool time.

10/10 Experience — I booked La Casa del Jefe for my birthday and it absolutely did not disappoint. This location was a 10/10 experience and it is everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The house and its views are stunning. The house overlooks the entire island and it is truly peaceful at all times. I went with a group of 5 people and we had more than enough room and still could have brought more people. Whether you want to relax in the outside couch in the shade, tan on the multiple tanning chairs, or be in the spacious pool you have it all. Everyone a part of this hosting was absolutely amazing from getting your trip ready from the beginning. Got assistance with car rental, massage setup, groceries and they have much more that they offer assistance with. When we arrived and left we were picked up by a driver which was great. Host on the island was amazing and super attentive and even provided us with the best local restaurants and house was cleaned everyday. Amazing trip and we will be coming back!
Wonderful home — Casa del Jefe is a wonderful home. We visited from 22/11/23 - 01/12/23: my mother (79), my sisters (42 and 47), my nephew (6), and myself (52). We absolutely couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect for us The location affords a stunning view out towards Orient beach and spectacular sunrises. The near-constant breeze also meant that we didn’t have to worry about mosquitoes when at the property, only when we were out and about. Our concierge was wonderful – touching base regularly, and offering helpful suggestions on activities and places to eat. The housekeeper is also a gem I took advantage of the gourmet food delivery for the night we arrived, so we didn’t have to worry about going back out again, and the in Villa spa services as a treat before heading back to the freezing cold UK I would recommend Casa Del Jefe unreservedly. In fact, I’m going to start planning my next escape there!
La Casa del Jefe turned out to be the all inclusve villa on the hill. From it's immaculate 4 bedrroms each of which opens to an expansive patio complete with an eating area that seats eight, barbecue and pool table sections, next to an attached pool that's serviced daily. The combined living, dining room and kitchen is massive and has every modern conenience needed for preparing and serving your own meals on a dinette that accomodates eight. The concierge is warm, friendly, funny, knowledgeable and service is his passion. He is always a text or call away to fill you in with suggestions on where, when. how and any details you need. He ensures that on your first day you have what you need to prepare a breakfast if you just want to chill. Maid service is timely and efficient. Some of the best vacation amenities my wife and I experienced and on our next visit we know exactly where we will be housed. - "The Haven on the Hill".
