Villa Bamboo keeps things beautifully simple: two king bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, a private pool, a Jacuzzi, and a sea view that does most of the talking. Set within the gated community of Terres Basses on Saint Martin, this single-level villa is made for four guests who want privacy, comfort, and a little Caribbean glamour without the fuss of an oversized estate.
The mood is calm and contemporary, with indoor living opening onto a terrace and garden where the day can drift along at its own pace. Morning coffee has a better argument when the ocean is in view. Dinner can be as casual as something from the barbecue, or as considered as a proper sit-down meal from the fully equipped kitchen, with an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, silverware, kettle, toaster, and enough practical support to make staying in feel like an actual pleasure.
Both bedrooms are set up with king beds and en-suite bathrooms, which makes Bamboo especially easy for two couples. Nobody gets the lesser room, nobody has to negotiate bathroom time, and nobody has to pretend a pullout sofa was part of the dream. It also works nicely for a small family, helped along by air conditioning, room-darkening shades or shutters, satellite and cable TV, Wi-Fi, linens, bath towels, essentials, shampoo, extra pillows and blankets, and those little domestic details that matter more on day three than they did on arrival.
Outside, the private pool and Jacuzzi give the villa its holiday rhythm. Swim, dry off, read for seven minutes, forget the plot, repeat. The terrace and patio are made for slow afternoons, and the garden softens the edges of the property with tropical green. Parking, a private entrance, a safe, housekeeping, safety equipment, and a generator add the practical reassurance that luxury travelers quietly expect, even if nobody puts it in the vacation photos.

Incredible! — My husband and I recently stayed at the Bamboo property. We can not overstate enough how incredible our visit was. The house was clean, view spectacular, and the service, especially by our concierge, outstanding. Any question we had was answered in a timely manner and our concierge went above and beyond providing information on the island itself and a few hidden gems, which we loved. The entire space was well kept and we enjoyed the openness overlooking the ocean. The area itself is the best on the entire island. Easy access to everything, safe, well manicured, and simply beautiful.
Best Time — I took a small group of friends for my 30th birthday and had the BEST time. We stayed in the Bamboo villa and it was gorgeous. Would HIGHLY recommend. 15/10
Fantastic — We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our stay. It is a great villa. The entire staff was very accommodating and terrific to work with. The convenience of the car drop off was great too.
Great vacation — Villa was great only complaint is house above can look down on us at pool area. Needs some large trees for privacy. But great vacation.Furniture beautiful and comfortable. Well done.

Bamboo Dreams! — When it was time to leave, we all looked at each other and said, "Wait, we have to go? You mean we don't live here?" That's a description of the comfort, the beauty, the serenity we all felt during our stay. We are already dreaming of our return!
Perfect — Our stay at Bamboo in Saint Martin was perfect. The Villa was beautiful and totally private. Our concierge was wonderful. She was in constant contact with us and provided us with whatever we needed. It was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to visit again.
Bamboo was great! — The villa Bamboo was great, we were very happy with it! We had a nice lunch at Kalos (new greek spot on the water on the road through nettle bay). I wouldn't spend a beach day there, but it is great for dinner! We prefer Kalatua and Coco Beach for day time beach & lunch. Finally, our best day on the island continues to be a day on the water with Pyratz Boat Charters. If you appreciate food, wine, and cocktails like we do, you can't beat it.
Absolutely beautiful — The place is as advertised. It's beautiful. I have been going to St Martin for over 15 years. I have never stayed in a 2 bedroom Villa before so I didn't know what to expect. This place was as big as some of the 4 bedroom Villa's. The shower was amazing. You could bath an elephant in there. The automatic storm shutters made it one of the most peaceful sleeping places I have ever stayed in. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The emergency food kit with 6 cold Carib's was a great idea. I have always stayed in Terress Basses and if I return with just another couple this is where I will stay.
