Villa Fondren sits in gated Fundadores at Puerto Los Cabos, where the hillside does the hard work: ocean views in one direction, golf-course greens in another, and the private pleasures of a resort-style estate gathered around you. It is grand, yes, but not stiff. The villa has that rare holiday-house rhythm where breakfast can drift into pool time, pool time into a long lunch under the palapa, and evening arrives with the fire pit already looking like the best seat in Los Cabos.
The outdoor terrace is the headline act. A heated infinity pool looks out toward the Sea of Cortez, with a Jacuzzi, deck loungers, a thatched palapa, swim-up bar seating, outdoor stereo, BBQ, and a covered dining area built for unhurried nights. There is a certain theatrical confidence to the white arches and columns framing the terrace, a little old-Hollywood, a little Baja resort fantasy, and very much the point of booking a villa in Fundadores.

Six bedrooms sleep up to 12 guests. Five bedrooms are furnished with king beds, each with its own private terrace bathroom, while the sixth bedroom has two twin beds and the same private terrace bathroom setup. It is a lovely configuration for extended families, several couples, or a group that wants equal comfort without drawing straws for the good room. Here, the good room is, inconveniently for the straw-drawer, almost all of them.

60th Bday Celebration - Wow! Where do I start! Celebrating my 60th at Villa Fondren was nothing short of amazing! Imagine getting together with so many great friends and family and lounging by the pool while my favorite butler served us our favorite drinks - Mojitos, Apperol Spritz's and of course killer Margs! After that, our chef cooked us up some delicious dinners. We couldn;t have asked for a better time. The property is immacuately cared for by the super friendly and always helpful house staff. The home was spotless and everyone had a gorgeous ocean view so no complaints about bad views! I highly recommend this villa for you and your family!!
Paradise in San Jose del Cabo! Villa Fondren was beyond our expectations with the immaculate condition of the entire Villa. The location and views were spectacular! The staff were so kind and helpful during our entire stay. They made our lives so much easier and comfortable…such great people! The elevator made the transfer of luggage upstairs effortless…what a great idea! We cannot say enough about Villa Fondren…and we have stayed in many, many homes in both San Lucas and San Jose…this was by far our favorite and we will be returning for many years to come :-)

Tranquility Base in the Sunshine Villa Fondren was the perfect base of operations for our vacation. The villa had everything to offer, including the amazing villa staff, and the incredible butlers, and the chef with his sous chef. I didn't want to step away and when we did, I was happy to return. Villa Fondren was immaculate and spacious through out, with gorgeous pool and ocean views off the bedroom balconies, and down the spiral staircase (or elevator!) was all the space and amenities we could imagine indoors and out, perfect for celebrating, getting together, or just chilling. I would definitely recommend Villa Fondren and hope to stay there again.
Beautiful house This house is spectacular, it has everything you need and more. The beds are inviting, the showers were clean and beautiful. The balconies were relaxing with an unbelievable view. The kitchen had everything you need and overlooked the pool and the ocean. The pool was the perfect temperature and the view was perfect. We could not have been happier staying in this house. If you are looking for a house to rent I promise this one is the one!!!
