About the Property
Villa Sandcastle sits in the exclusive gated community of El Encanto in San Jose del Cabo, looking out toward the Sea of Cortez with the sort of hillside calm that makes mornings feel almost suspiciously easy. Five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and space for 10 guests give the villa a generous, family-friendly shape, with ocean views, private terraces, and enough indoor-outdoor living space to let everyone drift into their own holiday rhythm.
The pool terrace is the showpiece. A heated swimming pool frames the view, with a Jacuzzi, deck loungers, shaded outdoor dining, a BBQ area, outdoor stereo, and a sunken fire pit set right into the pool scene. Glass partitions around the pool area add a welcome layer of safety for younger guests, and the private waterfall gives the whole terrace a little theatre, in the best sense.
Inside, the villa keeps things cool and comfortable with air conditioning, ceiling fans, high-speed WiFi, a gourmet kitchen with professional appliances, purified water, and a relaxed living area for post-beach sprawls. Evenings can go big or quiet: there is a home theatre with a 100-inch cinema screen, Apple TV, satellite TV, DVD/DVR, video games, a stereo system, a fireplace, and a bistro-style wine setup. The sauna and steam room are a rather persuasive argument for staying in after dinner.
The bedroom layout works especially well for families or a small group of couples. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, bathroom, and private terrace. Bedroom 2 also has a king bed with bathroom and private terrace. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds with bathroom and private terrace. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 5 has a king bed with bathroom and private terrace. No one gets the short straw, which is always helpful on a group trip.
El Encanto places guests close to the pleasures that make San Jose del Cabo so appealing: a swimmable beach, beach club access nearby, restaurants, golf, fishing, surfing, diving and snorkeling, shopping, and nightlife. A golf cart is included, and the gated setting adds private security without making the villa feel removed from the coast.

Beautiful property/Remote location The property was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed for our family of 7. We were a little disappointed that we could not swim at the beach but, the pool more than made up for it. Jessie did a wonderful job of keeping the house clean for our entire stay. Even though this house is a bit far from everything, it was really nice to have peace and relaxation away from the city.

Over the top We came for a wedding and stayed in this home. The location was terrific and the staff were amazing. Jesse, our housekeeper was fantastic. The decor definitely wasn’t my style, but we had a great time none the less. This is minor, but I wish Kleenex was provided in each room!

Amazing! From start to finish, Sun Cabo is AMAZING! Mary. Braverman helped us plan our entire trip and was so communicative the entire time. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed every step of the way! The house we stayed at (Villa Sandcastle) was absolutely stunning! We opted in to do the private chef the entire stay and were blown away!! Chef Israel made 5 Star meals for breakfast lunch and dinner and we had never seen our kids eat so much! Every single thing about the trip was incredible and the customer service was unmatched. It was a trip of a lifetime and we plan to use Sun Cabo for all of our vacations! The Lee Family

Amazing! Both chefs were very gracious. And the food was delicious. They were both accommodating to a vegan meal and a few food allergies. We all loved the house it did not disappoint; nor did the staff. I would definitely work with sun Cabo because the experience was wonderful.
Great stay We had a great time, thanks for all your help. Really cool house, Buzzards was nice to have nearby, and the weather was perfect. Our whole family had a blast, hope we can do it again some day.
