About the Property
Villa Sol e Luna is a three-bedroom retreat in Terres Basses, Saint Martin, set in a gated community with broad ocean views, tropical gardens, and the sort of terrace that quietly steals the itinerary.
The approach feels private and leafy, with palms and garden greenery giving way to a view over emerald hills, Simpson Bay Lagoon, and the Caribbean Sea. Outside is where the villa settles into its rhythm: shaded loggias for slow coffee, a generous private pool for hot afternoons, and a gazebo dining area beside the water for long, unhurried meals. It is polished, but not stiff. Comfortable, but still handsome.
Inside, the open-plan great room connects naturally with the terrace through wide glass doors, bringing the view into the living space. Neutral tones, dark wood details, and Caribbean accents keep the mood calm and warm. The kitchen is well equipped for easy villa living, with an oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cookware, dishes, and silverware. A barbecue adds the obvious temptation to stay home for dinner.
Each of the three bedrooms has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom, making Sol e Luna especially well suited to three couples or a small family group of up to six guests. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, a stereo system, linens, bath towels, essentials, shampoo, extra pillows, and hangers are all provided, so the practical pieces are already handled. Housekeeping is included, babysitting can be arranged, and luggage drop-off is allowed for easier arrival days.

Amazing hospitality! — Thank you for your Hospitality! This is our fourth visit and once again we had a relaxing time. We can't say enough nice things about the housekeeper: She is a delight! We have already made our reservation for next year!
Great experience — We had a great experience renting Villa Sol y Luna for about 10 days in June. We were not there for a vacation, but it provided the perfect location to do what we needed to do. Our reception by the concierge was prompt and professional, the housekeeping was done with extra love and care. All of the staff was very kind and flexible with our special circumstances and we are truly grateful. They went out of their way to help us on our departure day. All much appreciated.
Over and Beyond — The house was over and beyond. It was very well equipped with everything you could need - cooking items, beach towels, etc. The outdoor area was beautiful and very large. We spent a lot of time around the pool. The beds were very comfy and the rooms were loved. The area was great - very quiet and had a lovely view! The house was very clean and came with housekeeping 6 days a week for many hours. It felt like we were in a private hotel. Highly recommend!
We will return! — Beautiful Sol e Luna! The villa team was brilliant. Both before and during our stay. We particularly appreciated the housekeeper and concierge for their service. Having a car is a must if you don’t want to just chill by the pool the entire time you are here. We will be back!
We will return! — Sol e Luna was a lovely home for us. The soft breezes, the singing birds, the peace-and-quiet and the welcoming 'warmth' of it all. The full moon was just another extra gift. This was the fourth time to St. Martin, there are so many great restaurants near by (Mezza Luna is one of them). The housekeeper is the one that makes this house a home! She is lovely and such a lovely lady to speak with. Thank you Sol e Luna; for the magical times!

Loved Sol e Luna! — Our first trip to St. Martin and the first international trip for our twins ( 2 years old)! We loved playing the in the pool, al fresco meals, looking out on Saba Island and the beautiful sea! Out favourite beach was Pinel Island - we went twice and the kids loved swimming in the ocean and seeing the Iguana's. A beautiful house, for a beautiful Holiday!
Beautiful — My husband and I have visited St. Martin numerous times renting various villas in Orient Beach. This time we brought our two young children and decided to stay in Terres Basses. It was the perfect location and villa for us. Sol e Luna was beautiful with a fabulous pool (perfect for little children and adults), gorgeous views and landscaping. The house was airy open, and well decorated with all the amenities for cooking, lounging, hanging out (and more)! Beds were super comfortable and loved the outdoor showers! Some of our favorite vacation days were spent at the villa relaxing and playing/reading by the pool. The gated location felt very safe and was such a short distance to Porto Cupecoy for groceries, breakfast, and dinner (restaurants). The housekeeper is so personable, accommodating and wonderful! We loved our experience and will definitely book another stay at Sol e Luna!
